Her hybrid of dance, pop, folk music from the Middle East and her own compositions emphatically refutes prejudice about Arabic/Turkish music being neither tuneful nor dance-friendly. Her music is balm for the soul and helps brigde the culture gap that remains between native Danes and immigrants after all. |
